Wendy died from parvo a few days after Rescue got her out of the pound.  She was sweet and perfect.  But she was dying.  Love and money couldn't save her, though God knows we tried.   She died held, and warm, and loved.  Not tossed aside like garbage.  Wherever she is now, the last thing she remembered was loving hands holding her.
